Polystyrene is one of the most renowned thermoplastic resins. It is a very widely used plastic material as it is non-toxic and has remarkable electrical insulation. PS is divided into GPPS (General Purpose PS) and HIPS (High Impact PS) which reinforces impact stregth of GPPS. It is applied in various areas, from household goods to electrical appliances.
SOLARENE
Our PS product SOLARENE possesses excellent water, acid, shock and alkali resistance. It also has phenomenal heat stability and processibility that makes injection molding easy. Moreover, it is easy to color, print and coat so these characteristics enable it to be utilized for various purposes where transparency is required.

Expandable Polystyrene, generally known as Styrofoam, is made by expanding polystyrene.
It is produced by impregnating Pentane into small marble shaped pieces of (diameter of 1mm) PS resin. Expandable Polystyrene usually consists of small white marble shaped structures, and is widely used for shock absorption or packing materials. Panel-type products are also produced and used as architectural insulation.

DOUBLEPOR
While maintaing the high insulation performance, constructability and economic effectiveness of existing EPS products, we added an optimum inorganic flame retardant to improve flame retardant function of our EPS, DOUBLEPOR, making it a high-functioning and evironmentally friendly insulator.
